In this interview, we take a closer look at how Solandra, one of our Solutions Consultants, works, how she helps clients, and, overall, why she loves what she does.

About Solandra: Solandra is one of our Solutions Consultants for the Benelux. She works with large organizations on their Asana implementation, always looking for the right solution based on each client's specific needs. She actively thinks along with clients and ensures the entire process runs smoothly from start to finish.

What kinds of processes do you work on?

"Most organizations already have processes in place, but they want to move them into Asana to make them more efficient. A common example is transitioning from Excel to Asana, which significantly improves efficiency across the board. My goal is always to help clients get the maximum value of Asana. With features like AI Studio, automations and templates, work can become much faster and easier.

Sometimes, though, I work with organizations that know their current processes aren't strong enough. In those cases, we redesign everything based on what Asana can offer. For one client, we restructured all of their processes in Asana and ensured that projects were managed consistently, so everyone worked in the same structured way."

What challenges do you enjoy most?

"The variety of companies I work with is fantastic. Because the industries are so different, their processes vary a lot as well. That means every project setup looks unique, which makes my work both challenging and fun. At Bluehive, we strive for the best, ensuring that every process we design truly fits the client and aligns with every role and department. In the end, Asana doesn’t just impact one part of an organization, it influences its most important processes."

Why do organizations choose Bluehive?

"I’ve noticed that organizations value having a local partner. Being able to speak with us directly in their own language and rely on our support is one of the main reasons they choose to work with us. Since we’re deeply involved in implementations and bring expertise across many areas, we can truly help Asana users succeed. In addition, being local means we can visit offices in person, and I really enjoy meeting people face-to-face."

What advice do you give customers when they first start using Asana?

"When an organization starts using Asana, I recommend setting up their full processes first so the implementation runs smoothly. After that, it’s equally important to take the time to properly onboard the team. That investment pays off significantly later.

Personally, I like to be on-site during this first phase whenever possible. Being there allows us to tackle action items immediately, discuss everything in real time, and make the day highly productive. It helps keep momentum going and ensures strong follow-up afterward, which makes these work sessions especially valuable."

How do you adapt training to different teams?

"Good preparation is important on my side, but flexibility matters even more. Every group is different, some pick things up quickly, while others need more guidance. I adapt my training style to the group in front of me, focusing on their specific needs. Feedback moments are essential as well. By the end of training, I want the entire organization to be aligned. It’s my responsibility to make sure no one feels left out or thinks, ‘This doesn’t apply to me.’ Everyone should walk away knowing how Asana works and how it benefits their role."

What happens after implementation and onboarding?

"We provide ongoing support long after the implementation phase. Once teams are fully onboarded and actively using Asana, new questions inevitably arise, often around structuring processes or making the most of new features. While we don’t control Asana’s core functionalities, I focus on finding creative solutions to meet client needs in other ways. Sometimes it requires extra effort, but in the end, we always find a way forward so our clients can keep working effectively and confidently."
